Hexham - Northumberland - Loads of spectacular walks - all I need now are the joints to go with them! :)

Hi Paul - bluebells are coming out in force down here in Devon. I took a nice stroll around Stourhead yesterday - the rhododendrons and azaleas are still looking lovely, although they will soon be overtaken as summer approaches.

Really enjoyed watching Chelsea on telly last night - me and hubby are in agreement that we must go next year. Anybody fancy getting a trip together?

I didn't realise that Chris Bearshaw also has arthritis (not sure if it's RA) and he was there doing a show garden for Arthritis Research - looked gorgeous.

Here's the link

lovely photo Paul,

we've had bluebells in our garden for quite a few weeks now,

and we put out all our bedding plants this last weekend, they have got a little drowned though the last two days .. but hopefully there should be no more frosts now.

I also enjoyed the Chelsea Flower Show .. and I can see we will get an invasion of Garden Gnome's in all the Garden Centres making our way to our own gardens .. lol,

it would have to be a pair for me though BigGrin

we've just bought two stone Owls that are adorable with big eye's and look at me every morning from the French doors, they are on a step up to the lawn where they sit in my back garden as I sit eating my breakfast.

That sounds really great Suzanne - I love the sound of your owls - I tried planting out some tomatoes and cucumber plants at the weekend - possibly a mistake as it's still a bit early and they're not looking too happy!

My grass grew ridiculously long with all this warmth and then rain - got it cut today and it looks superb! Roll on Summer

Lovely photo Paul.

I'm getting very fed up with this weather. When I gave up work recently I had lots of plans for what I was going to do, including growing flowers from seeds, filling pots and any spaces with them. The seeds are still in the packets.......At least the shrubs are nice and green with lots of fresh growth. and I did manage to propagate some geraniums. I also bought cushions for the bench and candle holders with a view to spending as much time in the garden as I could rather than sitting indoors. Ah well!

Hi Paul - It'll get better - definitely! The sun's out today, and there's a gentle breeze.
